This section is dedicated to another exceptional former JCPS Black female educator (unfortunately, there have been so many) who was wrongfully targeted and removed from her position by a mob of wrong-headed bullies and predators determined to protect status quo, and a system that protects them, not the victims.
Tanya White is a bold truth-teller, transformational speaker, and passionate advocate for justice whose work challenges systemic inequities in education and beyond. With over two decades of experience in leadership, education, and community empowerment, Tanya brings both lived experience and professional insight to her debut book, Professionally Lynched—a powerful account of one Black woman’s fight against institutional retaliation, racial injustice, and the silencing of truth.
A proud native of Louisville, Kentucky, Tanya holds advanced degrees in education and leadership and has dedicated her career to mentoring, advocacy, and uplifting voices too often ignored or erased. Her writing blends personal narrative with unflinching analysis, calling readers to reflect, resist, and rise.
Through her speaking engagements, workshops, and activism, Tanya continues to spark dialogue and inspire change—equipping others with the courage to stand firm in the face of professional and societal adversity.
