Pattern or Practice LMPD: Cultlike “Shore Flap”

As mentioned in my blog post about Brian Thurman and Travis Nagdy, I believe Louisville’s Fraternal Order of Police engages in a behavior that is referred to in the cult of Scientology as “Shore Flap.” They send their people to the scene of an “event” and tamper with witnesses and evidence to craft a plausible story that is more favorable than the actual truth. I’m not the only one who believes this, as a response to this comment on a more recent story reveals.

Here is a more recent example.

The first articles I read on this situation heralded two police officers for their heroic deeds and brushed over the actual deeds done by the good Samaritans.

“Officials said the officers with the help of bystanders were able to grab the suspect and take him into custody. Police release surveillance photos of the incident on Tuesday.”
