Petition DOJ for Pattern or Practice Investigation in JCPS

The US Department of Justice is currently conducting an investigation of pattern or practice of discrimination in Louisville Metro Police Department, in light of the police killing of Breonna Taylor and many others that have recently come to light in Louisville and across the country. Breonna Taylor graduated from Jefferson County Public Schools (JCPS), and many of the patterns or practices we're learning about in LMPD have also been occurring in our public schools. Many areas overlap in our city, which is why we believe the US Department of Justice should also conduct a pattern or practice investigation in JCPS, the 29th largest school district in the country.
